| The twelve Pre-Columbian silver, copper and bronze items in this lot (LFG 433. 434. 445-448, 453, 456, 462, 471, 472 and 474) are all from Bolivia or Peru, with the majority attributed to Tiwanaku near Lake Titicaca. Tupos or shawl pins, tumis, pendants and pins are shown in this selection, all from a single collection. An interesting and representative group, each individually priced, a number of these could well serve as ‘type’ examples. Each photo shows first our inventory number in brackets followed by a brief description, then the provenance and time period, country, condition, and finally price. Select or ask any question by referring first to the Trocadero Item Number at the top of this page, and then to the item’s unique Inventory Number shown on the given photograph. Each piece comes with a small display card, a brief biographical sketch about the collector, a map highlighting the area where the item was found, and our certificate guaranteeing authenticity. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced! And if you want to further refine the group, add one or two additional modifiers at the same time such as ‘Indian, Precolumbian, Stone, Pot, Gold, etc.’ Any item that has been sold will be so noted on its photograph. | |||||||||||||||
