TWELVE SHELL ARTIFACTS, WEST MEXICO: GROUP B

This group of twelve Pre-Columbian shell artifacts (LLL731R2N2F&I, LLL732R2N1C, 845B, 846C, 864F, 920C, 927D, 928J, 980 and 1206D&E) was assembled from finds made by the late Lynn Langdon in West Mexico in the mid-2oth century. Included in the group are individual pieces and lots, each shown and priced on its own photo. Finger rings, pendants, zoomormorphic pendants, pectorals, beads, etc., are among the pictured items. Grades range from 5-10 (with ten being the top) and prices range from $15 to $250. Each photo has an inch scale on the left side. The photo is annotated with first the inventory number of the pictured item or items, a brief description followed by the numerical grade in brackets, the age and provenance, shell type when known, comments concerning condition, and finally the price. Select or ask any question by referring first to the Trocadero Item Number on this page, and then to our Inventory Number shown on the given photograph. Each piece comes with a descriptive card, a map of the area in which it was found, a biographical sketch about Langdon and his collection, and finally, when requested, a certificate guaranteeing authenticity.
