| This approximately 10mm long steatite scaraboid (96.1067HD), a scarab-like form but without the detail of the beetle on its upper part, is decorated on its base with the image of the Egyptian god Bes...god of amusement, pleasure, music, dance and protector of children. In excellent condition with minor spall and abrasion, this protective amulet is attributed to the 26th Dynasty dating c.664-525BC. It comes with a small display card and our certificate guaranteeing authenticity.
