ORIENTAL TRANSLUCENT SERPENTINE CUP
Only a few millimeters in thickness, and measuring 3 ¾” in diameter, this beautifully mottled green, transparent to translucent serpentine cup (PES75) is from the estate of the late Brian Safe. In just about perfect condition, the rim has one tiny nick that is found by running the fingers around the cup’s lip. Dating into at least the mid-20th century, the cup tested as serpentine through a specific gravity measurement of 2.53. Simply spectacular in front of light, the cup comes with a small display card and a biographical sketch about its late owner. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced!
