TWELVE PRE-COLUMBIAN METALLIC ARTIFACTS
The twelve individually photographed and priced metallic artifacts in this group from the Brian Safe estate (PES53 thru PES64) are from several horizons and countries. Included is a fragile tumbaga gold eagle pendant from Panama (tumbaga is a high copper, low gold alloy, much of the time heavily corroded when found). Other items shown are a variety of copper axe monies, some attractive pendants, and a lime spoon from Peru. Each photo shows first our inventory number in brackets followed by a brief description. Then comes, size, provenance when known, approximate age and culture, miscellaneous information and condition, and lastly the price. Select or ask any question by referring first to the Trocadero Item Number on this page, and then to our Inventory Number shown on the given photograph. Each artifact comes with a small display card, a biographical sketch about Brian Safe, a map of the country of origin when known, and our certificate guaranteeing that the artifact is Pre-Columbian in age. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced!
