Lot Of 3 Pre-columbian Pots From West Mexico
The late Lynn Langdon found the three Pre-Columbian ceramics in this lot (LLL567-677-687) in West Mexico in the mid-20th century. Intact and in overall very good to excellent condition with a couple of small rim chips to 677 and 687, the incised teardrop censer is 3 ½” tall, the polychrome jar 4 ¾” tall, and the bichrome bowl 4 ¾” wide. Langdon assigned the pieces to the Jalisco and Nayarit groups dating them c.300BC-600AD. The price shown buys all three of the pottery pieces together. The three pieces of pottery come with a small display card, a copy of a write-up to Langdon, a map of Mexico on which is highlighted the area in which the bowls were found, and our certificate guaranteeing authenticity. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced!
