| It will become quickly evident that the late Lynn Langdon was indeed a prodigious collector...and the items shown are only a small part of his collection! Offered in this group of twelve (LLL491, 537, 541, 547, 557, 558, 579, 584, 595, 633, 1035 and 1058) are individual three-piece lots of smaller Pre-Columbian bowls that he found in West Mexico in the mid-20th century. All are from the states of Jalisco, Nayarit, Colima, and Michoacan, the pieces are believed to all date somewhere in the period c.300BC-600AD. Offered in varying types for diversity, the three pieces shown in each photo, though individually numbered so I can find them, are briefly described in the captions at the bottom of the photos under a single inventory number shown in brackets. The price at the bottom of the caption is for that group of three pieces. Langdon’s provenance and information concerning size and condition are given in each photo. Each group of three comes with a small display card, a biographical sketch about Langdon, a map showing the genreal area in which the pots were found, and our certificate guaranteeing authenticity.
