| This group of twelve illustrates individually priced Native American necklaces (BB 152, 156, 157, 159, 162, 166, 168, 170, 178, 179, 181 and 184) made by silversmiths and designers from the southwest pueblos. Dating broadly from the middle to the later 20th century, the group includes squash blossom, coral, fetish, graduated bead, an attractive multi-stoned cross, a sharp inlaid butterfly on a chain, and a spectacular large mounted Nevada blue turquoise cab in silver...and other necklaces. From the upscale Billy Branch collection in his Denver estate, each photo is annotated with the folowing inforamation. First in brackets, is the unique inventory number of the illustrated item followed by a brief description. Then, and not necessarily in this order, is approximate age, tribal affiliation when known, and stone type. Measurement shown is for the necklace length, then stone types, a note on condition, and finally the price. Refer to any item by mentioning first the Trocadero Item Number shown on this page, and then the inventory number of the piece as shown on its photo in brackets. A purchase comes with a small display card, a biographical sketch about the late owner, and a certificate guaranteeing that the necklace is Native American in origin.
