| This group of photographs each individually illustrates and prices eleven different, mid to later 20th century belts (BB122, 124-126, 128-134) all with silver or nickel-silver buckles and conchos. Most were Native American made; the rodeo pieces probably not. The belts are all from the large and varied collection of pawn and other previously owned examples of southwestern styles assembled by the late Billy Branch of Denver, and all of the belts are ready to wear. Each photo is annotated at the bottom with the following information. First, in brackets, is the illustrated belt’s unique inventory number. Next comes a brief description giving the total length of the belt (not the waist size measurement). Following that, and not necessarily in this order, is a description of the buckle with notice of any hallmark, the number and size of any conchos, approximate age, condition, and finally price. A purchase comes with a small display card, a biographical sketch about the late owner, and when the elements on the belt are either known or believed to be Native American in origin, a certificate so stating.
