OLD PAWN PETTI-POINT TURQUOISE BRACELET
Mounted on a silver, three-bar bracelet frame, the large roped medallion with gorgeous, deep blue petti-point turquoise (BB81) has the scratched initials on its back ‘EY’ (possibly one of the Navajo Yazzie family?). In overall very good condition, with six of the stones chipped and/or cracked from wear (but none loose in their settings), this fine Native American made bracelet was noted to be ‘pawn’ by its previous owner, the late Billy Branch of Denver, and is believed to date into the middle of the 20th century. The center medallion on which the turquoise is mounted measures 2 7/8” from front to back. The inside width of the bracelet is 2 ½”. The outside circumference of the bracelet from the edges of the wrist opening is 6 ¾”. And the wrist opening itself is 1 ¼” wide. A beautiful piece of jewelry for either wear or display, this magnificent bracelet comes with a small display card, a biographical sketch about the late owner and collector Bill Branch, and a certificate guaranteeing that the bracelt is Native American in origin. We plan to soon have listed a total of some 150 items from the Billy Branch jewelry collection, so please check back often. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box.
