TWELVE TURQUOISE AND SILVER INDIAN BRACELETS
All but one of the twelve individually photographed and priced Southwestern Pueblo Indian bracelets in this group of twelve (TEH49-53, 77-79, 82-84 and WJF411) are from the estate of the late Chester Howard, founder of the Colorado Mineral Society. Dating no later than the 1970s, some of the pieces are believed to date into the earlier 20th century. All are in good wearable condition. Each photo shows top and oblique views of a bracelet, and is keyed with the inventory number (in brackets) of the illustrated piece, a brief description, three dimensions in inches (i.e., 1” W = width of the band, 2 ¼” ID = the inside diameter of the bracelet from side to side, and 6” OC = the length of the outside circumference of the bracelet from end to end not counting the wrist opening on the band), any notes as to tribe or age or touch marks (makers symbol, initials, or name), condition, and finally the price. We’re pleased to announce that we’ll be handling many more diverse items from this important collection including: Native American textiles, beadwork, pottery; Pre-Columbian pottery, artifacts, beads, figurines; some 375 Hacienda tokens; a great assortment of picturesque and decorative artifact frames that Howard had professionally constructed to house many of his treasures; and more. Select or ask any question by referring first to the Trocadero Item Number on this page, and then to our Inventory Number shown on the given photograph. Each bracelet comes with a small display card and for any prefixed ‘TEH’, a biographical write-up about Chester Howard. NOTE: if you would like to view a large number of our various listings, and at the same time limit your browsing time, try our ‘TWELVE different items on a single page format’ by simply spelling out the word TWELVE in the search box. That will quickly bring up all of our listings that have twelve different items on a page, each individually priced and available! Any item that has been sold will be so noted on its photograph.
