| The twelve southwestern Zuni Indian fetishes in this group (TEH.F80.1, 4, 10, 11, 31, 33, 41, 44, 46, 58, 66 and 73) are individually photographed and priced. All are from an open frame of 86 fetishes that was in the collection of the late Chester Howard, founder of the Colorado Mineral Society. The group includes bear and unidentified fetishes made of marble onyx, argillite, turquoise, acrylic, and greenstone ranging in grade from 8 to 10. Each photo first has the inventory number shown in brackets, followed by fetish type, and an approximate numerical grade in brackets (with 10 being the highest). Next comes the material type, then the length in inches, followed by remarks about condition or highlights. Last listed is the price. The fetishes all date into the middle 20th century.
