1880s CLAY PIPE FOUND AT BRIDGER STATION, WY

This fine 1 5/16" tall, light gray glazed gray pipe (30.86CHJ), dating into the 1880s was found by Hank Johnson at the all-but-forgotten Union Pacific RR ghost town of Bridger Station, Wyoming. Located on the south side of the original UPRR tracks in the southwest part of the state, the town began as a section house in 1868, ended up with half dozen buildings or so, and lasted into the 1880s. Nothing remains today. The pipe comes with a small display card, a map of Wyoming highlighting the approximate site of Bridger Station, and a certificate guaranteeing authenticity.
