Measuring 4 5/8” in height, this stone pestle (LLL1019), made from vesicular basalt, was found in west Mexico in the mid-20th century by the late Lynn Langdon. In overall very good condition without chips or dings, the top of the pestle depicts a human head…any previous sharply defined images long since subdued from moderate weathering.
