THE HEIRS OF THE BILLY BRANCH COLLECTION ARE NOW INVITING OFFERS!!!

With the imminent distribution of proceeds from the sales of items in the Billy Branch estate, the heirs
are inviting offers. Though already heavily discounted, the family has asked that I note its willingness to
consider any offer for a listed item in the Branch collection: Pre-Columbian art pottery; unique Native American
pawn pieces; Chinese zoomorphic cloisonnee forms; and a variety of other special collectibles. Bill had a good
eye, and this opportunity to purchase a fine piece at your price is seldom seen. To see all items in the Branch
collection, simply type the letters 'BB' into the search link on any page and all of Bill's listings will come up.

AND ANOTHER! Type the single word OFFER into the search box for additional great buy opportunities!

This 6 7/8” wide, gray and white on red bowl (BB73) is attributed to an unidentified potter from the Santa Clara Pueblo of New Mexico. With a somewhat primitive geometric design and its gently scalloped, infolded rim, the bowl is believed to date into the early to middle 20th century. In overall good condition with a few minor rim dings and one small repair on the rim, the bowl makes an impressive decorator and has an early charm that will appeal to many. From the estate of Denver’s late Billy B ...click for details

$1500.00

Although sinew sewn and quilled in the Sioux style, there is a question about whether this large and colorful bag (TEH.F1.1) was really Native American made. It appears to date into the mid-20th century, but at least one collector and dealer has expressed the opinion that it could have been made as a Boy Scout project, although another thought it was simply of late vintage. Probably no way of really knowing, but a potential buyer should consider this if looking for a bag that was unquestionably ...click for details

From the estate of the late Chester Howard, this rather spectacular beaded floral strip or belt (TEH.F8.3) measures 30 ½” x 4 ½”. Dated to the mid 20th century, Howard noted that the belt was either Crow or Northern Cheyenne. Due to the initials ‘MS’ shown in cobalt beads, it is believed that the belt may either have been made under contract for a specific party, or that the initials were for the name of the Native American who made the belt. The back of the belt is canvas with a single irregula ...click for details
