Written on a folded 8 ¼” x 10 ½” sheet watermarked LA CROIX FIBERS and signed by Rob. C. Winthrop, this personal letter (89.590HD) is rather difficult to read, so its contents are not here attempted. Addressed from 90 Marlborough St., on Friday Eve, 5 April, 1898, the letter is in excellent condition with an embossed ‘W’ at the upper left, there are two light marks from being pasted into an album.
