The 8" x 12" frame (FP859) holds 34 relics found at the UPRR town of Percy, Wyoming (1868-1902). Located south of Hanna, this vanished UPRR town was named for Percy Brown, a young surveyor killed by marauding Indians as he worked along the roadbed to the west. This lot of four relics (FP925) was found at the oil boomtown of Salt Creek, Wyoming (1912-1923). Only faint remains of this once energized town can be found today. The streets teemed with tool-pushers, roughnecks, wildcatters, and corporate engineers as the great Salt Creek Anticline north of Casper was prospected and developed.
