This impressive 3 ½” tall eagle’s head silver buckle (BB135) was noted by its late owner, Billy Branch of Denver, to be Navajo ‘old pawn’. Believed to date into the mid-20th century, the beak of the eagle is covered with a gold wash, and its one piercing, disk-shaped golden eye is centered with a small button of polished jet. This 8” long, Mexican made, middle to later 20th century silver link bracelet (WJF431) is stamped ‘Casa Prieto’, ‘925’, and ‘Mexico’ on its simple tongue clasp. The bracelet is composed of five 1 ¼” by 1 3/16” doubly concave rectangles between each of which are three 7/16” hollow balls in which the hinges are ingeniously hidden.
