This impressive 3 ½” tall eagle’s head silver buckle (BB135) was noted by its late owner, Billy Branch of Denver, to be Navajo ‘old pawn’. Believed to date into the mid-20th century, the beak of the eagle is covered with a gold wash, and its one piercing, disk-shaped golden eye is centered with a small button of polished jet. A unique, soldered, raised touch mark on the back of the buckle has the word ‘STUMP’ floating over the image of a tree stump. A handsome Native American buckle that will ac ...click for details
